Based in West Lothian, Scotland, and formed in 1902, Torphichen and Bathgate Pipe Band is one of Scotland’s oldest pipe bands and also one of the country’s most successful.

The band has enjoyed many successes over the years and currently boasts an excellent line-up of gifted pipers and percussionists who, under the leadership of former Pipe-Major Gordon Stafford, combine to produce a Championship winning repertoire of both traditional and modern music.

The band competes throughout Scotland and Europe during the summer competition season as well as undertaking a number of charity functions and concerts throughout the winter. The Band recently performed a sell out concert at the Magnum Centre, Irvine. The recording of this concert is available on CD.

Over the course of a pipe band season, some 160,000 spectators attend major competitions. Torphichen and Bathgate Pipe Band has been consistently successful competitors in these various arenas. This success draws a crowd both within and outwith the competition field. The name of the band is called out whenever the band enters or leaves the arena. In addition, the name of the band is announced when it receives a trophy. In the case of Torphichen and Bathgate this is a weekly occurrence.

The band are now seeking a corporate partner to assist them in achieving even greater success.

In return for your investment, and should you wish it, the band would change its name to reflect your company or product name. Your logo would feature on the band’s bass drum, pipe bags and shirts, not to mention your chosen name being called out each time the band wins a prize at any contest.
